Location
This attractive split-level apartment (3 floors) could not be more conveniently located - it's on the north side of the river in "zone 1" / central London just outside Pimlico underground station (less than 1 min walk away) in the City of Westminster. It's also only a short walk from Victoria Station, the Houses of Parliament, the river Thames and so forth. Yet despite all this it's in a surprisingly pleasant peaceful landscaped square (plus has it's own private garden!) and there's very little traffic noise etc.

Altogether you'll find this flat offers more privacy and vastly better value for money than anything comparable in any neighboring district on the same side of the river such as Knightsbridge, Brompton, Belgravia, Kensington, St James's or Chelsea. Rather surprisingly it'll probably be much cheaper to live here (and of course a whole lot more fun and without any silly commuting) than anything comparable in the suburbs!

General Description
A highly convenient & practical property split on 3-levels (2 rooms upstairs, 2 downstairs and the communal space and amenities in the middle). It has it's own private walled garden as well as access to and overlooking well kept and peaceful communal gardens.

In addition to its own small but secluded walled garden, the property features a covered (so sheltered from the rain!) west-facing balcony / raised seating area with an attractive view over the garden and beyond. There is a fitted and reasonably well equipped kitchen-diner in which there is a full-sized 6-seater pine dinning table and chairs (by a window overlooking the garden).

The property is double-glazed throughout and has highly effective full central heating (all costs included in your rent).

Furniture & Equipment
The property is available furnished. Furniture includes beds, a desk or small table in all but the single room, and a full sized dining table and 6 chairs in the kitchen. There are also a number of draws and cupboards (both fitted and free standing). Kitchen equipment includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine in addition to electric oven, hob and extractor unit. Some garden equipment may be available on request.

Parking
Resident's zoned parking is available by permit. We believe this still costs - amazingly for Central London - just £105 per year, but please check for current prices. Call 020 7641 5123 for full details.

Public transport
Pimlico underground station is just a minute's walk away, whilst Victoria underground & mainline station are about 8 minutes level walk (or one stop by tube). Vauxhall mainline station is just one stop from Pimlico, and of course Waterloo Mainline / International (and Eurostar) is just two stops (via Vauxhall). It's just 5 or 6 minutes walk to Victoria coach station. There are also ample bus services in the immediate area.

Shopping & Facilities
A range of convenient local shops (including several very handy late-night stores) will be found within 2 - 3 minutes walk. There is also a full-sized (and nice new/modern) Sainsburys supermarket about 5 minutes away just off Warwick Way (walk to the end of Tachbrook St then turn left). Also within 5 minutes walk or so is a large public swimming pool & sports complex (just over ½ way to Victoria station). In addition several private sports, fitness, health & beauty clubs can be found in the area. As well as your own garden and communal gardens right outside your front gate (!) there are a number of near by parks and open spaces (including by the river). Although a little further away (¾ mile, or about 5-10 minutes by bicycle) there is of course the large and beautiful riverside Battersea Park (just cross Chelsea Bridge then it's on your right) with a boating lake and tennis courts. The same sort of distance but a different direction will take you to the exceptionally pleasant and well-maintained St. James' Park.

It's a Grade II Listed Building
Yes, but it's true! Many people are rather surprised to hear that Wisley House has been designated a building of special architectural and historic interest. In fact it's now a Grade II listed building. Click on the following couple of links if you'd like to know more...
